Every desire in your life… literally every. single. one… flows from one place —your heart. - Yet Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” - That’s why Ezekiel 36:26 says, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” - This is literally what being “born again” is… or as my dad would always say, that’s when God changes your “want to” Hello, I’m Pastor Daniel Wright of HOWC, and I would like to invite you to our services for the final installment of our series, “Guard the Gates,” we’re focusing on the Heart Gate—the control center of your life, and it’s titled, “The Heart of the Matter” Because what gets into your heart… will come out in your words, and your choices, which in turn, affects your direction.
