Temptations and Trials… We all face them. As Christians, much more than most in my opinion… But What if the fire you’re in… isn’t meant to destroy your faith in God—but actually to prove it? “Faith Under Fire” — part 2 of our new series: “Faithfully Trusting… & Trusting in His Faithfulness.” In life, we all face moments where our faith is tested… Seasons where trusting God isn’t easy… Times where the waiting feels heavy, and the process feels painful. But what if those very moments are where God is doing His greatest work? The Bible reminds us in 1 Peter chapter 1, that the trial of our faith though tested by fire—is more precious than gold. And in those trials, God is not absent… He is proving, refining, and strengthening what He has placed within you. This message will challenge you to understand the difference between faith and trust… To embrace the patience that comes through testing… And to recognize that every trial carries an eternal purpose and reward. If you’ve ever wondered, “God, where are You in this?”—this message is for you. Exhaustion. We’ve all felt it. And honestly, we’re all tired of it. But what if the reason we’re exhausted… is because we’re trying to carry the things that God never asked us to hold? We live in a world that glorifies constant motion… Always doing. Always striving. Always pushing. But what if true strength… is found in knowing when to stop? In Jeremiah 17, God gives us a powerful picture— One life, dry and empty…Another, like a tree planted by the waters…Strong. Steady. Fruitful. What made the difference? Trust. Not just in what God CAN do… But in WHO He is. Because sometimes the greatest act of faith… is not working harder— …it’s resting in Him. This Sunday, we begin a new series: “Faithfully Trusting, & Trusting in His Faithfulness” Part 1: “Fruitfulness in Faithfulness” We’re going to discover how real FAITH produces real FRUIT— And why honoring God, even in rest, positions your life for His provision. Because when you simply trust in the Lord… you won’t just survive— you’ll flourish.

"The Call of Man Unto Godly Garments" Part 3 "The Sound of Sanctification"
Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
In the priestly garments described in Exodus 28, God designed something remarkable. Along the hem of the High Priest’s robe were golden bells and pomegranates — sound and fruit working together. Because in God’s kingdom, life is not meant to be silent.
The bells rang as the priest ministered, declaring that he was alive and serving before the Lord. And beside each bell was a pomegranate — a symbol of fruitfulness. A powerful reminder that true ministry must have both: a voice that proclaims… and a life that produces fruit. Explore the meaning behind the blue robe of heavenly ministry, the golden plate engraved “Holiness to the Lord,” and the linen garments that speak of righteousness — Because when a life is truly consecrated to God… it will make a sound the world cannot ignore. Discover what it means to live a life that truly carries the sound of sanctification. Remembering that before there is glory shown outwardly, there must first be holiness planted inwardly.

The Call for Man unto Godly Garments - Part 2 The Burden of Bearing
Wednesday Mar 04, 2026
Wednesday Mar 04, 2026
Outfits, clothes, attire, uniforms… Interestingly enough, the choice of clothes we wear are often a reflection of how we feel in terms of priority-labelling in the environment in-which we are residing. Example: What I wear to Walmart, is very likely not what I would wear to my nephew’s graduation ceremony. In the sense of our spiritual clothes, or honestly, sometimes naturally speaking, what are we “wearing” in the presence of God? How does our actions reflect our priorities when it comes to our relationship with Jesus? In this message, we step into the priestly garments of Aaron and discover something deeper than fabric and jewels — we discover what it means to be carried by divine strength and held close to the heart of God. The shoulder stones were engraved with the names of the tribes — not written in chalk… but engraved in permanence.
The breastplate held twelve unique stones — each tribe different, yet all resting over the priest’s heart.
Strength on the shoulders. Love over the heart. Light and perfection guiding from within. This is not just a lesson about ancient garments. It is a revelation of Christ. You are not carried by your strength — you are carried by His You are not forgotten — your name is engraved.
You are not unloved — you are held over His heart. And the question remains: Are you clothed in what God has provided… or standing without the garment? Come expecting revelation. Come ready to examine what you are wearing. Come and discover the beauty of being borne upon His shoulders and carried upon His heart.

"The Call of Man unto Godly Garments - Part 1 'The Calling of Consecration'"
Monday Feb 23, 2026
Monday Feb 23, 2026
Before God clothes,… He calls. Much like a baby, that after they are born, he or she is placed in swaddling clothes. The 28th chapter of Exodus doesn’t begin with required garments. It begins with a summons. “Take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother… that he may minister unto Me.” Aaron didn’t campaign for it. He didn’t earn it. He was called. And with that calling came consecration. Set apart. Separated. Marked for holy purpose. Before the ephod… Before the breastplate… Before the gold and the beauty… There was surrender. Because you cannot wear what is holy while living what is common. God called Aaron out from among the people to stand before Him. And the question for us is simple: Has God called you — but you’ve resisted consecration? This week, we open Exodus 28:1–5 and discover that before there is glory, there must be holiness. Before there is beauty, there must be obedience. Before there is ministry, there must be consecration. The Call is cast, but are you consecrated? For many are called, but few are chosen.

WANTED: Dead AND Alive | Part 3 - Death is Only a Dream
Tuesday Feb 10, 2026
Tuesday Feb 10, 2026
“Death is final… It is powerful… It is unavoidable…. Or is it?
What if physical death for the believer isn’t actually what we’ve been taught?
When Jesus spoke of Lazarus after he was gone and buried, he spoke of him saying, ‘Our friend Lazarus sleepeth.’
Often times you’ll find that scripture does not present death for the child of God in finality —
but as rest… waiting… and awakening.
We discover why the Bible calls death, “sleep,”
and why resurrection — not death — is the Christian’s true hope.

"WANTED: Dead AND Alive | Part 2 - Death Has No Hold!"
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
Oh death where's thy sting? Oh grave where's thy victory? You may not realize this, but when the Apostle Paul wrote these words, he was actually taunting death or as we might say today, he was trolling it.
“Oh death, where's your sting? Oh grave, where's your victory?”
We continue our powerful series Wanted: Dead and Alive, Part Two: Death Has No Hold.
If we're going to be honest, death can be terrifying. See, as a funeral assistant myself, I see that fear all the time—its finality, certainty, its weight. But the scripture declares something absolutely radical. The Bible actually personifies death and declares it as our enemy and of course Jesus Christ as its conqueror. By becoming man, Jesus Christ redeems man and by experiencing death himself, he then defeats it. You see, apart from Christ, death did have legal access to us, but because of the payment of death of Jesus Christ on the cross, Jesus now holds the keys. So in Christ, we have that authority. The grave has lost all of its access and fear no longer has a rightful place in the heart of a believer. For if we believe that he died and rose again, we believe also that we shall be raised up with him in newness of life. Death might affect the body, but in Christ, it cannot affect the soul. This week we're looking at the victory of Christ over death and why the Christian should no longer have any bondage to it. Let us be reminded and encouraged that death is not the end, but is actually the beginning.

What Does the Bible Say About Boarders & Foreigners?
Monday Feb 02, 2026
Monday Feb 02, 2026
A timely and much needed look at what the Bible says, God’s stand is on national boarders and how we, as believers, should handle foreigners. This is an important topic to understand in our current political climate so that we can align ourselves with the word and wisdom of God and not be deceive by the enemy into standing against God, unknowingly. The devil is very cunning, but God’s word always reveals the truth to us.

The Bible. It speaks of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who offers “ETERNAL LIFE” through free the gift of salvation by His grace, through faith in Him! It says that He came to give us life, and life MORE ABUNDANTLY! But what exactly is the process of that gift of life to the believer who walks that path?
Ironically, the answer is actually death. The Bible makes this ___ revelation very clear when it says, “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:3-4)
So death, in essence, is what God uses to bring us to life - being Dead to sin, Dead to the world, and Dead to the selfish desires.
The word of God, explicitly speaks of this over-arching theme, very simply when it says,
“For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3)
So come and experience the truest nature of our new life in Christ found only through the death of Self. For resurrection cannot be experienced unless having already gone… to the cross.

In Christ Alone | Part 3: Plan & Purpose
Monday Dec 29, 2025
Monday Dec 29, 2025
The Age old Question: What is the Meaning or Purpose of Life? So many have contemplated this, and have also attempted to answer. For Me? All truth comes from the scriptures of the Bible, and funny enough, it actually tells us very Directly in Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Biblical Truths: No one is an accident. Not a single person is created without purpose. No matter what you may think, your life has valuable meaning; in fact, every decision we make has eternal consequences. So, In Christ, purpose is not a mystery — it is a promise. Hope is not fragile — it is anchored in resurrection. Victory is not uncertain — In Christ, God always ensures it. We are called with a high calling, secure in an eternal purpose, and destined to share in His glory — especially the day when the dead in Christ shall rise first. We Uncover our God-given purpose, Renew our unshakeable hope, and Celebrate our promised future for every believer who is …in Christ.

Word for 2026: Faith Resurrected
Monday Dec 22, 2025
Monday Dec 22, 2025
A word of hope and instruction for the coming year. We stand on the brink of great opportunity to show the power of God to the hopeless, but only is we stand fast and don't fall to hopelessness ourselves. Don't dwell on the trial, look through to the victory, elevation, and reward waiting on the other side of it. Don't be shaken, don't quit, don't loose faith or focus! This is a moment of greatness and you don't want to miss it. The storms and shakings will be loud and boisterous, but the power that God has stored up for this hour is more than sufficient. Ask and believe it.

The Bible gives us a clear warning that has been all but forgotten by the world, and even most churches. He tells us what will be happening in the world when He returns, but to understand what he says you have to go back to what happened in the beginning to know what is coming. Truth really is stranger than fictions. From fallen angels, to Giants, to Demons, to AI and the Mark of the Beast System. The truth is not hidden. It's all laid out in the pages of Scripture from Genesis to Revelations. This timely lesson gives us an overview of all of it and points us where to look for a more in depth understanding.

Teaching Titus - The Uncommon Faith | Part 3
Thursday Dec 11, 2025
Thursday Dec 11, 2025
What does it really look like to live out an uncommon faith in a world that has grown comfortable with compromise? In this week’s message, “Teaching Titus: The Uncommon Faith – Part 2: Living It Out,” we journey deep into Titus chapter 2, where the Apostle Paul calls every believer—young and old, men and women, leaders and servants—to embody a faith that transforms daily life. This isn’t just doctrine on paper; it’s truth in motion. Through Paul’s instructions to Titus, we see that sound doctrine always produces godly behavior. From the example of older men and women, to the devotion of young families, to the integrity of workers, Scripture paints a picture of a church whose lifestyle honors the gospel in every detail. And at the heart of it all is the grace of God—grace that not only saves us, but teaches us, shapes us, and empowers us to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. This message calls us back to the beauty of holiness, the urgency of spiritual integrity, and the hope of Christ’s glorious appearing. It challenges every believer to become a “peculiar people”—set apart, purified, and zealous for good works. Let’s learn what it truly means to live out an uncommon faith. This is more than a sermon… it’s a call to action. A call to transformation. A call to reflect the character of Christ in every part of our lives.

Teaching Titus: The Uncommon Faith - Part 1
Monday Nov 17, 2025
Monday Nov 17, 2025
“What does it take to stand for truth in a world built on lies?” Or put another way: “When faith becomes uncommon… will we still contend for it?” In this powerful opening message of our new series, “Teaching Titus: The Uncommon Faith,” we step into Paul’s introduction: A timely letter to Titus—a young pastor left on the morally chaotic island of Crete. Paul charges him with a bold assignment: set things in order, raise up godly leaders, and guard the church from the corruption of false doctrine. This message dives deep into Titus 1, where Paul lays out the blueprint for a healthy, Spirit-led church: • Leaders who live above reproach • Homes that reflect Christ • Doctrine that is sound, steady, and Spirit-anchored • A faith that isn’t just claimed… but lived • And the courage to confront deception with truth We explore the meaning of the “common faith,” why Paul insists it is uncommon in a sinful culture, and how the gospel demands purity, integrity, and conviction from every believer. In a world overflowing with perversion, confusion, and counterfeit truth that even what is considered “the church” adopted, Paul’s words echo with fresh urgency: Sound doctrine produces sound living — and the Church must rise up with bold leaders who will unashamedly hold fast to the Word of God. Let's get stirred, challenged, and strengthened in your walk with Christ as we journey through this transformative book together.

Servant-hood: Have we, as Christians, sincerely speaking, got so deep in service to the cause, than serving Christ Himself? Yes whatsoever you’ve done unto the least of these, you have done unto me, and charity is good, when it’s rooted in the character of Christ that is first birthed in the time of contrition and worship; service to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.
Hi. I’m pastor Daniel Wright of HOWC, and this Sunday, I will be continuing our series called, “The House of Simon: A Picture of the Modern Church” with a powerful 2nd addition entitled, “Selling Out the Anointing.” From Matthew 26, we see a striking contrast: a woman’s costly act of worship toward Jesus called “waste” by Judas believing that the value of the sacrifice would have been better served tot he poor in charity, but was nothing more than his greed cloaked in disingenuous charity. So instead of selling the precious ointment for the poor, Judas sold the anointing by betraying the Anointed One.
The fact remains that true worship is never wasted, but selfish motives will always be marred by spiritual betrayal.
Through this word, we are challenged to examine our hearts: Is our ministry first to Jesus? Or to material gain, or even “good works”? Because only when we posture our love to Jesus first, only then can we rightly serve others in love.
